Cookie policy

We keep cookies to a minimum. MechManagerdoes not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and we don’t sell your data. The cookies we do set are either strictly necessary to run the Service or remember a preference.

• mm_session — keeps you securely logged in. It’s an httpOnly session cookie and is essential; the app cannot work without it.
• Security/anti-forgery cookies set by our framework where needed to protect form submissions.

These are exempt from consent under UK law because they are essential to provide the service you asked for.

• mm_diary_view — remembers which diary layout you last chose (timeline, by ramp, etc.).
• Your light/dark theme choice, stored in your browser’s local storage rather than a cookie.

When you make or take a payment, you may be taken to Stripe, our payment provider. Stripe sets its own cookies for fraud prevention and to process the payment securely; these are governed by Stripe’s own cookie and privacy notices. We do not embed advertising or analytics networks that track you across other sites.

You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the strictly necessary cookie will stop you being able to log in and use the Service. Managing preference cookies simply resets those preferences.
